The motto that says "always connected" has now taken a step forward thanks to the new Google app called Android Auto. This is something similar to "do not ever leave your mobile phone, even when you are driving". It is possible that, some day, we will have an extensive debate about connectivity and its differences with slavery.
But, meanwhile, Android Auto allows us to access to our phone and gives some comfort and security. The use of Android Auto is quite simple. Onece the app is installed in our mobile phone, we just have to connect it with a USB cable to the USB port and follow the instructions on the screen of our car.
What does Android Auto gives us
- First, we must know that we need these two factors if we want to use Android Auto: our car must be compatible and the operating system of our mobile phone must be Android 5.0 or higher.
- It uses Google Maps to easily get to your destination.
- All the information is clearly shown for better visibility.
- All the controls are easily accessible.
- We can makcalls in an automatic way by voice commands, for example: call mum.
- Listen to your favourite music thanks to Google Play Music.
Remember that the apps requires an active and constant data connection. You may also update several apps to adapt them, such as: Google Maps, Google Play Music or Google search.
